Hello!
I am Arti, the artist behind "Colors of Joy".

Colors have always felt like a language to me, one that can say “breathe,” “hope,” “play,” or “you’ve got this” without using a single word. I started
Colors of Joy because I wanted to create art that does something simple but meaningful: bring lightness into everyday life.

My work is inspired by the small, easily-missed moments that make a day feel calmer. The calm after a busy morning. The way a simple pattern can turn an ordinary object into something you want to keep close. I am drawn to clean, minimal illustrations with warm, cheerful details, and I love creating pieces that feel modern, gentle, and alive.

Life can be intense, fast, and noisy. Creating is how I return to myself. It’s how I make something gentle in a world that doesn’t always feel gentle. When someone connects with my work, wears it, gifts it, or sees it and feels even a quick lift, that’s everything to me.

Thank you for being here and for supporting my art. I am so glad you found your way to Colors of Joy.
With love and color,
Arti Ramanathan

My Story
I grew up in India surrounded by color. It wasn’t just in festivals or fabrics, it was everywhere: in street markets, flower garlands, painted doorways, and the everyday beauty people bring into ordinary life. Even on the busiest days, there was always something bright to notice.

When I moved away from home, I realized I missed that feeling more than I expected. Art became my way of returning to it, a way to carry pieces of home with me and to make something comforting and hopeful in a new place.

"Colors of Joy" was born from that longing. It’s my love letter to where I come from and a reminder of what I believe: joy doesn’t have to be big to be real. Sometimes it’s a small burst of color, a simple design, a gentle moment you can hold onto.
